THE JOY OF CHRISTMAS

• There’s joy in EXPECTING

(Luke 2:8-11, NLT) That night there were shepherds staying in the fields nearby, guarding their flocks of sheep. Suddenly, an angel of the LORD appeared among them, and the radiance of the LORD’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified, but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the LORD—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!”

THE EXCITEMENT OF KNOWING HIM

• The Joy of Christmas is captured in the EXCITEMENT of KNOWING HIM

(Philippians 4:4, NLT) Rejoice in the LORD always and again I say rejoice!

THE EXPERIENCE OF CHRISTMAS CHEER

• The Joy of Christmas is realized in the EXPERIENCE of CHRISTMAS CHEER

(John 16:33, NLT) “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

THE EXPECTATION OF BELIEVING

• The Joy of Christmas is found in the EXPECTATION of BELIEVING

(John 20:29, NLT) Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
