The idea of making a lasting change in someone’s life can be overwhelming. But, the reality is that this is exactly what Jesus is calling every one of us to do.
BE THE CHANGE

(1 Peter 4:10-11, NLT) Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of GOD’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of GOD. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength GOD provides, so that in all things GOD may be praised through Jesus Christ.
BEING THE CHANGE
(2 Corinthians 5:17, NLT) …anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.
- Your past does not DEFINE you
- GOD has never made a person He didn’t love and have a purpose for
- Your STORY can change someone’s life!
(Philippians 1:27b, TLB) You are standing side by side with one strong purpose – to tell the Good News.
In a Small Group, everyone has the opportunity to be a contributor and not just a consumer
(Colossians 2:6-7a, MSG) My counsel for you is simple and straightforward: Just go ahead with what you’ve been given. You received Christ Jesus, the Master; now live Him. You’re deeply rooted in Him. You’re well constructed upon Him. You know your way around the faith. Now do what you’ve been taught. School’s out; quit studying the subject and start living it!
- One person can change a relationship
- One person can change the culture of a community
- One person’s story can change the story of many
Next Step: Ask GOD to reveal how you can be the change for one person
“The idea of making a lasting change in someone’s life can be overwhelming. But, the reality is that this is exactly what Jesus is calling every one of us to do.”
